Nicole Prince specializes in tax compliance and consulting services, as well as having experience overseeing audit engagements. She has over 15 years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to nonprofit organizations, employee benefit funds, charitable trusts, pass-through entities, and business executives. She has worked with many of the firm’s national foundations and associations, and has consulted on salient tax issues pertaining to unrelated business income taxation, political activities and lobbying, public support, charitable registrations, payroll and benefits, and other areas of compliance. She has given numerous 990 presentations to our clients’ governing bodies, and has prepared and reviewed many of the firm’s more complex 990, 990T, and state tax filings. Nicole has also assisted clients in dealing with IRS audits and other compliance reviews.

In addition to her extensive tax expertise, Nicole has experience in conducting financial statement audits for nonprofits, employee benefit plans, and federally funded organizations under US and international standards. This audit background and exposure give Nicole a valuable perspective when consulting and working with our clients on tax matters, which helps to better identify and effectively address the complex interrelationships that often exist between the tax and accounting regulations. Whether tax or audit, Nicole’s expertise, attentiveness, and professionalism are widely respected and appreciated by the firm’s clientele.

Nicole currently works with the firm part-time on select engagements, while devoting time to her role as CEO of Justice HQ, a unique alternative law practice structure she assisted in founding. Nicole has an M.S. in Accountancy from George Washington University, is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
