Audit Principal
Requirements: BS or MS in Accounting, CPA, 10+ years of current public accounting experience, and extensive experience with nonprofit audits and accounting. Should also have solid written and oral communication skills and experience with Board meetings, proposals, marketing, practice development, and quality control practices. Should have proven experience and reputation in the industry, and ability to help grow the firm and improve processes, practices and personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee audit engagements and help direct the firm's audit function.
  • Review and assist auditors with planning, fieldwork, completion of audits.
  • Review of financial statements and board letters.
  • Be a technical resource to firm's audit personnel.
  • Participate in recruiting and training programs.
  • Developing and maintaining effective client relationships.
  • Collaborating with staff to ensure effective communication and timely service delivery.
  • Presenting audit results to executives and Boards.
  • Participate in firm quality control function.
  • Participate in firm marketing, proposal, and expansion efforts
  • Work closely with Tax Principals in addressing complex tax matters for clients.
  • Develop and mentor firm staff and participate in firm management and leadership.

Audit Manager
Requirements: BS or MS in Accounting, and 6 to 10+ years of current or recent public accounting experience. Experience with nonprofit audits, and CPA or CPA eligible. Should also have solid communication skills and experience with Board meetings, proposals, and client management. Audit Managers works closely with Partners, audit staff, and clients to facilitate completion of the audit process, including overseeing fieldwork, reviewing workpapers, preparing client files, interfacing with client executives, participating in presentations to boards, and issuing final client deliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor audit seniors and staff.
  • Schedule client engagements and manage report due dates.
  • Oversee audit fieldwork and ensure timely and accurate audit completion.
  • Review working papers and audit documents prepared by seniors and staff.
  • Prepare or review engagement letters, financials, board letters, and other key deliverables.
  • Coordinate with firm’s tax professionals to ensure timely client tax assistance.
  • Respond to client questions and address issues throughout the year.
  • Participate in presenting audit results to Boards and Audit Committees.
  • Participate in firm recruiting, marketing, and administrative functions.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Audit Senior
Requirements: BS or MS in Accounting, and 2 to 5 years of current/recent public accounting experience. Experience with nonprofit audits preferred, and CPA or CPA eligible. Should also have solid oral and written communication skills, experience working with Microsoft Office and use of computerized audit software. Senior Auditors work closely with Partners, Managers, Staff, and clients to facilitate completion of engagements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee audits, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
  • Supervise and review work of staff auditors.
  • Perform higher risk and complex audit procedures and working papers.
  • Ensure proper completion of audit file.
  • Preparation of GAAP compliant financial statements and board letters.
  • Developing and maintaining effective client relationships.
  • Collaborating with Partners and Managers to ensure effective communication and efficient service.
  • Research and analyze accounting, audit, and related issues and developments.
  • Develop and mentor firm staff.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Audit Staff
Requirements: BS or MS in Accounting, and recent graduate up to 2 years public accounting experience, CPA or CPA eligible. Should also have solid oral and written communication skills, analytical and documentation skills, and experience with Microsoft Office. Staff Auditors are responsible for planning and performing audits to include work paper preparation, drafting audit documents, and assisting with financial statements.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audit planning, controls and detail transaction testing.
  • Documentation of work and preparation of audit working papers.
  • Learn and utilize ProSystems Engagement and audit research tools.
  • Assist In-charge/Senior with audit wrap up and file completion.
  • Assist in preparation of GAAP compliant financial statements and board letters.
  • Review and proof draft audit documents for footing, grammar, cross-referencing.
  • Developing and maintaining effective client relationships.
  • Research and analyze accounting, audit, and related issues and developments.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Tax Senior
Requirements: BS or MS in Accounting, 3-5 years of public accounting experience with focus in tax, and be a CPA or CPA eligible. Should also have solid oral and written communication skills, analytical and documentation skills, experience with Microsoft Office applications, and tax preparation software. Position will involve nonprofit tax compliance, preparation, consulting, and research. Experience with 990 preparation and nonprofit accounting preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients and audit staff to identify, review and resolve tax issues.
  • Provide timely preparation and review and of tax returns.
  • Experience with CCH Prosystems fx Tax and CCH Prosystems Engagement, preferred but not required
  • Track and monitor tax filing deadlines and ensure timely tax submissions.
  • Report to and work with firm Tax Principles to ensure efficient administration of tax department.
  • Research and analyze tax regulations and law.
Accounting Services Senior
Requirements: BS or MS in Accounting, and 2+ years of diversified accounting experience, including data entry, reconciliations, budgets, reporting, and experience in nonprofit accounting. Ability to work independently, in a team, and with client personnel. Should also have solid oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and documentation, strong time management skills, and experience with Microsoft Office and similar applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop understanding of client accounting operations.
  • Understand and work with various accounting softwares.
  • Perform month end closings and reports.
  • Prepare monthly bank and other account reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements for review.
  • Train and oversee accounting staff when applicable.
  • Input or review daily transactional data entry.
  • Receivables and payables management.
  • External audit preparation assistance.
  • Other accounting services as may be assigned.
